A1 certificate

A1 certificate, issued in the Republic of Lithuania, is a document proving that an employee has social insurance in the Republic of Lithuania and in the European Economic Area (EEA), for he does not need to pay social insurance contributions in the State in which the posted employee will work. For a citizen in the EU to be able to choose the state of his place of work, he must be sure that he will be provided with social protection, i.e. the right to receive free medical care, compensation and benefits, and pensions. The EU has adopted the coordination of social insurance systems, the rules of which are distributed in the European Economic Area (EEA) - EU states, as well as Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Switzerland. The rules apply to citizens of all EU states and to citizens who legally reside in the European Union. Delegated employees must have an A1 certificate for legal business travel. Violation of this requirement threatens the employee with deportation and fines to the receiving party. A1 certificate is issued to an employer who is obliged to apply to social insurance structures, to the service of foreign payments and provide a mandatory package of documents - an application for A1 certificate, an employer's questionnaire, employee questionnaires sent to work, etc. We will check the financial data of the employer's company to obtain the A1 certificate, prepare the required package of documents. If the employer's company, in order to obtain the A1 certificate, does not meet the requirements of government agencies, we will assist in preparing the company so that it meets all the requirements. An employer may also purchase a company from us. The company meets all the requirements for obtaining the A1 certificate.
